If she lives in Lincoln County, send her to East Lincoln Christian Ministries. They are located at 4278 Catawba Burris Road Denver, NC 28037
(704) 483-4415. They offer help with utilities, christmas presents, food etc. She just needs to show them any income she may have and a social security card for herself and each of her children.

If she attends a local church, she needs to go talk to them about her situation. I know there are many local churches that are very happy to give. Denver Baptist Church is one of them. They are located on Hwy 16 in Denver. The phone number to there office is 704.483.3030.

If she is local, around Lake Norman, NC, please e-mail me at Michelle@lknagent.com. I feel sure we can find a way to help her. I work for a very giving real estate company, Lake Norman Realty, Inc. We raised over 300 toys for TOYS FOR TOTS. We can help. Please provide me with more information.

Thank you for sharing this with me and I hope to hear from you. MN

I know a young handicapped woman with 2 small children who had been living in a battered womens and childrens shelter up until late summer, when it became time for them to leave and move out on their own.....
She gets no support from her soon to be ex-husband, (No divorce=no food stamps, no medicaid/other forms of public asst.) and tries desperately to make ends meet on her Social Security DisabilityInc., while trying to find an employer who will accept her despite her disability.
She doesn't know how she will be able to give her children a Christmas, and is beside herself with worry. I have helped her as much as I possibly can with as low a rent as possible, etc., but it is sad to see.
Do you have any helpful information I could pass on to her, as to where she could possibly get help for gifts for her children, please?
