Coldwell Banker United, Realtors - A Denver Power House

With the merge of Coldwell Banker United, Realtors and Century 21 Hecht Realty, Inc., most residents on the West Side of the Lake (or some say Best) are scratching their heads. The most common question I am asked these days is not “How are you” but “What happened”. I always know what they are making reference too without any further explanation. Many have commented on what happened, when it happened, why it happened. I can tell you what I know, at least up to now.

I know Bob Hecht was a great man that mentored me as a rookie and supported me throughout my career. He surrounded himself with good people, hardworkers like himself. I had grown attached to the staff and Bob and his family over the almost 5 years I worked for his firm.

Although I am sad to see Bob go, I am relieved with the choices he made for his company. Coldwell Banker United, Realtors has impressed me every step of the way. Of course, there have been hiccups…printers, signage, etc, but I don’t think they could have pulled off a smoother transition than what they are currently in the midst of.

What does all of this mean to you, as a Denver resident or future/current/past buyer or seller? Century 21 Hecht Realty was a Power House in Denver – Coldwell Banker United, Realtors is a Power House PERIOD. Coldwell Banker United, Realtors ranked #5 in the Real Trends 500, noting the Top 500 Largest Brokers in the United States – Ranked by Closed Transaction Sides in 2008. In my small fish pond, I too led Century 21 Hecht Realty in Closed Transaction in 2008 and I can tell you it was no small feat for a pregnant realtor.

With the mergers, office moves, etc, the Denver office lost not one agent. We are all still the same people that have sold your homes and helped you buy them for years. We still love Bob and we are thrilled for the new opportunities that Coldwell Banker United, Realtors will provide us to grow our business and hone our skills for years to come.
